Hilda kolektiv

*Hilda (2022) is an artist collective created from friendship, whose practice is based on shared work and multi-voice creation. Their shared activities are defined by the focus on process, mutual impact and respect for different perspectives and experiences of each member. The collective doesn’t strive for one aesthetic, but for a layered connection of approaches, that form through dialogue and collaboration. An important role in their work is the effort to articulate the current experience through materials, forms and images, which carry memory or affective charge. Interest in synthetic means of knowledge, in framing their otherness and environmental surfaces are connected. Hilda collectively participates in exhibitions and creative projects, and attends artist residencies together. Its members are researching and experimenting which means being and creating together – what forms can collective work share responsibilities, or constant rethinking the functioning of the collective itself acquire?
