KDO JSME/WHO ARE WE
Hilda - jméno si ve zkrácené podobě propůjčuje od významné ženy středověku, Hildegardy z Bingenu, mystičky, básnířky a spisovatelky, skadatelky, léčitelky a duchovní.
Za naší patronku jsme zvolily právě ji zejména pro velké rozpětí její činnosti. I pro náš projekt je klíčovou myšlenkou syntéza a rozmanitost. Imponuje nám také svými na svou dobu nekonformními postoji a jejím cítěním oduchovnělosti přírody stejně jako člověka.
Naše seskupení se její osobností inspiruje v jejím cítění světa, po formální stránce je nám pak blízký gotický způsob umělecké práce, který přiznaně projevuje lidský faktor - vyhrazujeme se vůči unifikovanosti a dokonalosti, toužíme po organičnosti.
Jsme seskupením vzniklým z přátelství lidí s podobnou optikou světa a s potřebou kreativně se projevit, které prezentuje jak společné projekty,
tak i vlastní tvorbu s využitím podpůrné síly celku.
Pevně věříme v možnost se do budoucna transformovat v komunitní kreativní projekt se silným ekologickým, humanitním a sociálním akcentem, a kromě naší současné práce bychom také chtěly organizovat workshopy, přednášky a jiný kulturní program. Navíc s vidinou nabízet široce vybavené zázemí pro různorodý tvůrčí proces, určené i vzájemnému sdílení dovedností a znalostí bez přítomnosti autority.

Hilda – we chose the name, in its shortened form, after Saint Hildegard of Bingen. A prominent woman of the Medieval Period, she was a mystic, poet, writer, composer, healer and ecclesiast.
Our decision to choose her in particular as our patroness is due especially to the wide range of her activities, as synthesis and diversity are the key ideas of our project. She also impressed us with her non-conformist attitudes for the times in which she lived and her focus on the spiritual side of nature and humanity. Our collective draws inspiration from the way she viewed the world, and we also feel an affiliation in our work towards that of the gothic period, which openly acknowledges the human factor involved in design - we stand against uniformity and perfection, in favour of the organic.
We are a collective formed by the friendship of people who share a similar world-view and the need for creative expression, offering both practical objects as well as our art-works, while supporting each other as part of group. We firmly believe in the possibility of transforming our collective into a community-based creative project with a strong ecological, humanitarian and social focus in the future, and in addition to our current work we would also like to organize workshops, lectures and other cultural events, together with a view to offering a broadly equipped creative facility intended for the mutual sharing of skills and knowledge via a non-hierarchical approach.
